On the first of November in Wolverhampton University - Walsall Campus Sports Centre
Gorway Road, Walsall, West Midlands, WS1 3BD, the 1º No-Gi British Open its going to take place.
This is a great opportunity for all our students put your game to the test and have a great time doing it !
We are organizing a team to go there to represent our family, there are also some Professor Alex Students from Lisbon that are coming to visit us and to help the family and of course we are always counting in the GB Teams from Peterborough(UK) and Seixal (PT) from Porf. Alex disciple, Prof. Pedro Rodrigues to support and enlarge our family and start showing our Way of Jiu Jitsu in the UK mats….
If you want to be a part of this trip to the No-Gi Open, you just have to talk with Prof. Alex or send a Email to gbcambridge.uk@googlemail.com, that way we can make all the arrangements and organize the cars for the travel to Birmingham.
GB-Cambridge believes that even if competition its not at all important in you path to be a Great BJJ Black Belt and represent the heart and soul of Gracie Barra, it is a great extra Class experience that will allow you to now your self better and transport that experience to your everyday life, you will approach things with a different mentality, so above all it’s a experience and the result it’s the less important, because victory and defeat in a competition are so subjective…
Of course if you win it’s great! And we will all celebrate the victory, but let us not forget that there’s no defeat, except for does o give up.
